Only Successful Candidates shall be responded. Tlokweng College of Education invites applications from suitably qualified candidates aspiring to study for a three (3) year Diploma in Primary Education programme.

Applicants for this programme are required to take ALL fundamental and core subjects at Year one (1).

At Year two (2), learners are expected to continue with fundamental subjects and select an area of specialization from any one (1) of the following strands.

• Strand 1: Mathematics and Science
• Strand 2: English and Setswana
• Strand 3: Social Studies and Religious Education
• Strand 4: Home Economics and Agriculture

In addition, learners are expected to select any two (2) Optional Subjects from Physical Education, Music and Art, Craft & Design.

Tlokweng College Of Education Application Entry Requirements:

1. Category 1: Applicants with BGCSE, NCQF Certificate Level 4 or its equivalent with a minimum of 28 points. All candidates must have at least a D in English and a credit in Maths, Science, Setswana, Social Studies, Agriculture, Religious Education, and Home Economics. Applicants with work experience in the relevant area will be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in accordance with applicable policies.
2. Category 2: Applicants under Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) must have a minimum of 26 points with at least an E in English.

• All sections of the application form must be completed.
• Applicants should specify their name, address, age, and gender.
• All applications should be accompanied by certified copies of academic and professional certificates and transcripts for BGCSE or its equivalent.
• Certified copies of Omang for citizens or certified copies of the biodata of passports for non-citizens must also be attached.
