UPDF Recruitment 2025 Procedure

The procedure for the UPDF recruitment exercise is as follows.

• Aspiring candidates who apply to join the regular force get recommendations from LCI, LCII, LCIII, GISO and DISO.
• Thereafter, they submit their application forms to the official of RDC where they are registered and await collection by the UPDF collection teams.
• The list of successful applicants is then published/displayed on the district/city notice boards, informing the Shortlisted applicants to appear at designated recruitment centers for the final Interviews
• The UPDF Recruitment is conducted using the projected population figures of each District/City of Uganda, which Form the basis of recruitment quotas.

UPDF Recruitment 2025 Eligibility & Selection Criteria

1. Applicants must be citizens of Uganda in possession of an Original national Identity Card
2. Must be an adult male or female aged between 18 and 22 years
3. Must be medically fit and ready to undergo medical and body fitness tests.
4. Applicants must have S.4 (UCE) – Degree level and must have passed English and Mathematics.
5. Disciplined and with No Criminal Record.
6. Application letters signed by the area LCi, LCII & LCIII Chairpersons, GISO or DISO, and RDC.
