The Social Security System (SSS) announced that it is working to improve service for pensioners by reducing the interest rate on its salary and or Salary/calamity loan programs and pursuing self-employed coverage. By the end of 2024, there will be 157,493 such pensioners of SSS. Currently, the Interest rate for such loan programs is at 10% per annum.
