About Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya (SAMB)
SAMB Has a Glorious History Dating Back to 2035 B.S. The Same Year the Mahavidyalaya Was Established as Suping Multiple Campus At Bhimphedi, Makawanpur as a Constituent Campus of Tribhuvan University. It Was then Jointly Funded By Nepali Army and Tribhuvan University. In Chaitra 2042, the Mahavidyalaya Was Shifted to Sallaghari, Bhaktapur From Bhimphedi and From 14th Poush, 2043 B.S the Campus Started Running Under the Affiliation of Tribhuvan University With Her New Nomenclature Birendra Sainik Mahavidyalaya/ Campus, and Since then the Mahavidyalaya is Running Solely Under th Auspices of Nepali Army. In Shrawan 2067, the Mahavidyalaya Had a Slight Change in Her Name From Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya to the Present Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyialaya, Bhaktapur.
