Finally, the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology will announce the National Selection Results on 17th December 2025, for the Upcoming Academic year 2026. In 2025 academic year, at least 11,502 School Leaver and non-School Leavers were selected to various tertiary Institutions in the country through the NOAS System. There were 10, 2025 school Leavers selected from a total of 30,640 applicants and 1,299 non-school leavers from 2,268 applicants.

As per the DHERST, the National Selection process is conducted online through the National Online Selection System (NOSS). Successful grade 12 School Leavers have the Essential admission Criteria of a ranking within the allocated quota for their chosen Study Program. How to Check DHERST Acceptance List 2026

• Visit the Official website of DHERST @web.dherst.gov.pg
• Look for the News Section on the Homepage
• click on the link related to National Selection Results for 2026
• download the result pdf and open it
• Search for your name and program, SLF, surname, and first name
• If found you have successfully cleared the grade 12 selection.
• take a printout of the result for further use.

Forward Personal Details:

The Personal Details submitted during the application process have been transmitted to the respective higher education institution (HEI) that selected the applicant.

Admission Offer Letter:

Anticipate receiving an Admission offer letter directly from the chosen higher education institution.
