Ethiopia Ministry of Education moe.gov.et Ensure that Quality and Relevant Education and Training have been Offered at all Levels of the Educational and Training system and provide Education in Different Sectors. As per the Reports 2014 Grade 12 Examination, a Total of 1,24,227 Students (86,958 Natural and 37,268 Social) have got a Pass mark to Join higher Learning institutions this academic Year. The NEAEA Agency would like to announce that the 2017 Ethiopian National Examinations which have been administered for grades 10 and 12 Students are completed Peacefully. Students passing the EHEE are Eligible for university if their grades are sufficiently high.

The Government requires Universities to have 70% of Students in engineering and natural science and 30% in Humanities and Social Sciences. Students can state a preference but only those with high marks in the Grade 12 exam are likely to be Selected for their chosen course.
