The Sri Lanka National Diploma in Technology (NDT) is a Highly Competitive Program offered by the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa. There is no minimum Z Score. Applicants are listed according to the G.C.E (A/L) Performance in Merit & District Quota, and they will be called for an Aptitude Test and English Language Proficiency test that will be conducted by the University of Moratwa. There is no minimum Z Score required to get admission to the NDT Program in 2025 yet known, But it is expected to be around 1.5.
The National Diploma in Technology Course consists of two Years of Academic study and one year of Industrial Training and is conducted in English medium. The Course is Offered in the following fields of Study.

Usually, about 4000 People apply for this Course every year. Based on the District basis, about 2000 people with an above Z Score will have to face a General public Test (Aptitude Test) in their preferred language Medium. (These Numbers may change from year to year) This test is conducted by Moratuwa University Institute of Technology.
The NDT Aptitude Test i the same as the A Level General Public Test. Students who pass this exam will be selected. In this, a certain mark is decided and those who scored more on the aptitude Test are selected and from those who have the highest Z Score on a District basis are selected for the NDt Course admission in Moratuwa University.
