NDF Recruitment 2026 Namibia. Recruitment into the Namibian Defence Force. One of the Outstanding News to all Namibian Defence Candidates. The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs (MODVA) hereby informs the Shortlisted Candidates to report to their respective regional Centers before the deadline in 2026, to undergo pre-entry and Physical Fitness Tests. Only shortlisted Candidates are required to report to the centers.

Therefore, the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) plans to recruit 1,500 new members through the NDF recruitment planning committee across all 14 regions in March 2026.

However, the 1,500 cadets will undergo basic recruit training for nine months at the NDF Training establishment in Okahandja during the 2025/2026 financial year.

2026 Recruitment in the Namibian Defence Force Short List

The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs is Inviting Aspiring young Namibians to apply for career Opportunities in the Namibian Defence Force

Eligible Candidates should meet the Following Requirements

A. Recruits:

• Between the age of 18-25 years on or before February/March 2026
• Obtained grade 12 or new Grade 11 or Equivalent with a min of 25 points in 5 Subjects and an E symbol in English
• Obtained grade 10 old curriculum with a minimum of 25 Points in 7 subjects with an E Symbol in English or Equivalent.

B. Drivers:

1. He/Shre should have obtained at least grade 12 or Equivalent certificate with 25 points in five subjects minimum C Cymbol in
2. Must be in possession on a private pilot license (PPL)
3. Age not exceeding 30 years and minimum height 1.5m.
4. Body weight between 53 kg to 75 kg
5. ready to undergo an interview and psychometric aviation medical test
6. only the best two (02) shortlisted per region will be shortlisted totaling 28 candidates and finally.

C.Pilots:

1. Age between 25-35 Years on or before February/ March 2026.
2. Strictly passes minimum code C1 Drivers license which is at least three (3) Years old or Greater.
3. must possessa grade 10 certificate old Curriculum
4. attach CV with at least two (02) traceable references
5. All shortlisted Drivers to undergo medical tests and fingerprint checks
