Noas another additional feature in this Year’s NOAS cycle is the inclusion of Non-School Leavers on NOAS. This means non-School Leavers will have the opportunity to apply too for programs in which they are interested. We are here to facilitate a way for you after secondary school. As a Grade 2 School Leaver, you can apply online for Studies via the National Online Application System (NOAS).
This year NOAS will be rolled out for the first time for Non-School Leavers.
The National Online Application System (NOAS) application period for grade 12 school leavers extends to August 1st each year for 3 months.
2026 NOAS Application benefits
All grade 12 school leavers and Non-school Leavers are encouraged to apply for further studies through the NOAS as it provides the following benefits.
- More choices: Grade 12 school leavers can choose up to five 5 preferred programs
- More Information: each program has clear and district requirements,
- more time to make a decision: The Online application is open for three (3) months.
- Program and subject combination match: applications will be matched to chosen programs combinations.
- increased chances for admission through subject combination matching.

NOAS Grace Period 2026
The Grade period is will soon Open for students. Students who wish to update their choices can do so now. Once the Grade period opens Students may find their options limited as programs will appear based on their grade 12 final examination results.
NOAS National Selection Results 2026 Date
The Department Of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology will announce the National Selection Results for 2026 New Intakes in December 2024.
