Total 1,060 Fuel Stations Has Adopted to the System As At 8.30 PM Yesterday. As Per the Latest Update Over 1.1 Million Transactions Conducted Over QR. Those Who Were Not Abel to Register With the Chassis Number Will be Abel to Register With the Revenue License From 1st August 2022 (Monday).
It Will be Possible to Register With the Revenue License Number From Today 31st August 2022 For Vehicles that Cannot be Registered With the Chassis Number For the National Fuel Pass.

The Ministry of Power & Energy Said in a Special Statement that Vehicle Users Who are Unable to Register with a Chassis Number Will be Abel to Register With a Revenue License Number.

As Per the Fastest Updates Preparation Have Been Made to Start Fuel Distribution Across the Island From 1st August 2022 Under the National Fuel Pass Or QR Code & Quota System.
The System Based On the Last Digit Of the Number Plate, the Token System & Other System that Had Been in Place So Far Will not be Valid From Tomorrow.

The Ministry Also Stated that Public Transportation Will be Prioritised and that bus Fuel Quotas Will be Allocated At Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Depots, With the Quota Determined By the Route Permit & the No of Kilometres Travelled.
SLTB Depots Will Also Meet the Diesel Fuel Needs Of School Service Vehicles, Office Transport Vehicles, Industries the Tourism Sector, Ambulances and Other Government-Approved Essential Services.
Ambulances Should be Prioritised At Fuel Stations & Given the Requested Amount of Fuel.
Police Will be Given a Quota From Selected Fuel Stations in Each Police Division, Which Will be Communicated.
Public Will be Abel to Send Photos Or Videos of illegal Fuel Stockpilling Or Sales Activities
