Kakatiya university [ KU ] has just released the notification for PhD entrance test. Candidates who are looking for KU PhD examination can apply for PhD in various courses. Kakatiya University will be conducting PhD entrance exam for academic years – 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21. There are different courses offered in phd program like faculties of Arts, Commerce & Business Management, Engineering Technology, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sciences and Social Sciences. Candidates, must have passed the Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55 percent of marks (in case of SC/ST/PH candidates 50 percent of marks is minimum).

Eligibility criteria: To apply for Ph.D entrance exam, candidates have must passed the Masters degree in the concerned subjects with a minimum of 55% marks [ For sc/st candidates 50% of marks minimum ].

Examination Pattern & Marks
Test Pattern: Ku Phd entrance test 2021 shall consist of one paper in the concerned subject with minimum marks of 100. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes. The paper consists of 100 marks objective type questions. The exam for Social sciences shall be in English and Telugu. For all other faculties it shall be in English medium except for language subjects.
Registration Fee: Application fee of Ph.D Entrance test will be Inr 1500/- [ For SC/St/Ph candidates RS 1000/- only). The applicants have to remit the prescribed fee into the registrar income account at SBI A/C No: 52026911837, IFSC Code SBIN0020262 through Neft/Rtgs/Google Pay/Phone Pay or Online NET Banking only. Qualifying Marks: The minimum marks for qualifying Ph.D Test shall be 40% in case of open category candidates, 35% in case of BC Candidates and no qualifying marks in case of Sc/ST/PH category candidates.
