The Gambia Armed Forces Recruitment 2025 is inviting applications from citizens for recruitment into the Army. The GAF is conducting recruitment for Cadet Positions with the submission of application forms shortly. The Gambia Armed forces hereby informs the general public that it will conduct a recruitment exercise for possible enlistment into the Gambia Armed forces for Officers Cadets, Regular soldiers and tradesperson, prospective candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.and must be prepared to undergo basic military training.
Gambia Armed Forces Recruitment 2025 Requirements
- Applicants must be Gambian citizens by birth
- Must possess a minimum education of grade 12 or equivalent school leaving certificate with at least 6 credits, including English and mathematics, for Officer cadets.
- Must possess a minimum education of grade 9 school leaving certificate with at least 5 passes, including English and mathematics for regular soldiers.
- Tradesmen/women shall possess a certificate/knowledge in their respective fields.
Age Limit/ Eligibility
- Must be between the ages of 18-22 years Officers cadets
- be between the ages of 18-25 years of Regular soldiers
- be between the ages of 18-28 years for trademen
- Tradesmen must provide the appropriate certificates and documents for proof of skills.

How to Apply Gambia Armed Forces Recruitment 2025
Interested candidates can obtain application forms from any of the following military establishments at a nonrefundable fee of D100.00. Duly completed forms, attached with photocopies of school certificates, birth certificates, national Identity card or passport, and four (4) passport-size photographs should be submitted to any of the above-mentioned military establishments on or before the deadline.

Gambia Armed Forces Shortlisted Candidates 2025
Applicants who have successfully passed through the selection process will be able to read their names published on the notice Boards at various Gambia Armed Forces selection centers. Subsequently, Basic military training at the GAF training school for a prescribed period will be initiated.
