DOST SEI JLSS Results 2026 Qualifiers Junior Level Science Scholarships: The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) successfully conducted the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination 2026 on February 21 and 22, 2026 in various testing centers nationwide. Thousands of aspiring scholars participated in the examination hoping to qualify for one of the most prestigious scholarship programs in the Philippines.
After several weeks of waiting, applicants are now eagerly anticipating the release of the DOST-SEI Scholarship Results 2026. According to recent updates, the official list of selected candidates and qualifiers may be released very soon.
Students and parents are advised to stay updated as the results can be announced anytime this May 2026. Once released, the complete list of passers, qualifiers, and selected candidates will be available online.
Candidates who pass the scholarship examination will receive financial assistance and educational benefits including monthly stipend, tuition subsidy, book allowance, transportation assistance, and other scholarship privileges.
After months of preparation, 97,617 Grade 12 students sat the 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination on February 21 & 22, and March 7 and 8 across 222 testing centers nationwide. To date, this is the highest number of examinees for one of the country’s most competitive qualifying examinations.
Contrary to practice, the examination this year was held over four days after rescheduling 17 test centers in the southeastern part of the country due to poor weather during the original schedule. Of the 102,436 eligible test takers, the exam recorded a 95.3% turnout rate, with Luzon accounting for the largest share at 57,951 examinees, followed by Visayas with 21,227 & Mindanao with 18,439. Additionally, 48 scholarship aspirants are scheduled to take the examination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a later date.
The annual examination aims to identify qualified candidates who will receive financial and academic support from DOST-SEI to pursue college degrees in priority fields of study in the basic and applied sciences, engineering, and science and mathematics teaching.

DOST SEI Scholarship Benefits 2026
Dost Scholarship Qualifiers Will Get the Following throughout their S&T Degree Program
- Monthly stipend of ₱8,000
- Tuition fee subsidies of up to ₱40,000 per academic year for those enrolled in private universities and colleges
- Learning materials and/or connectivity allowance of ₱10,000 per academic year
- One-time clothing allowance of ₱1,000
- One economy-class roundtrip fare per year for scholars who will outside their home provinces
- Thesis allowance of ₱10,000
- Graduation allowance of ₱1,000
- Premium group accident and health insurance
- Research dissemination grant of up to ₱50,000, which scholars may apply for, subject to evaluation and approval for those who will present their research at conferences and/or publish in technical journals
