Observing International Day of Yoga – IDY On 21-06-2021: The 7th International Day of Yoga – IDY will be Celebrated on 21st June 2021. it has been tried and tested that practicing yoga helps in the Development of stringer physical and mental well-being. the Simple Yoga kriyas help in regaining the sense of control and enable mind and body to provide tools for better management of anxiety due to situations beyond control.
Due to the Pandemic Situation, all Schools are advised to Organise the 7th International Day Of Yoga Virtually On 21 June 2021 for its students.
International Yoga Quiz Online Competition 2021 Rewards Details
With this backdrop, MoA launched a quiz competition to commemorate the occasion of the 7th IDY, the test citizens’ awareness about Yoga, past IDY observation, and various initiatives being conducted this year by the ministry. On successful completion, each participant will be awarded an E-certificate marking their participation and Completion.
Following Online Events may be Organized to Celebrate the IDY 2021:
- Online Quiz Competition On Yoga
- Online Yoga workshop for Parents Teachers, and Students
- A 15 Days yoga training program for parents, Teachers and students through a Qualified Yoga Trainer for the promotion of health and well being the program may be scheduled in such a way it culminates on 21 June 2021.
The Preparation for the 7th International Day Yoga (IDY 2021) has already begun and the ministry of Ayush (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people.

Recognizing the Universal appeal of yoga, owing to its Demonstrated benefits towards Immunity building and stress relief the United National general Assembly. (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the international Day of Yoga -IDY on 11th December 2014.
