With this, the government has announced that it has decided to increase the salary of the government workers.
It is said that the Minimum Salary of government employees will be increased from 4 thousand 760 to 6 thousand birr
It Has been Said that the Highest Government Employees Salary Will be Increased from 21 thousand 492 to 39 thousand birr
It has been stated that the starting salary of a degree graduate will be increased from birr 6 thousand 940 to birr 11 thousand 500.
Apart from Civil Service Government Employees who are trained in different sectors will also be improved.
The Commission said that this salary adjustment has asked for more than 160 billion birr additional budger; this will bring the total annual government expenditure to 567 billion birr.
