For a candidate to pass the PSLCE examination he/she must obtain passes in Five (5) subjects including English.

Out of the 245,048 candidates who participated this examination, 198,903 have passed. This represents 81.17% pass rate.

Out of the 118,511 male students who wrote this examination, 101,548 have passed. The represents 85.69% pass rate.

Out of the 126,537 female students who sat for this examination, 97,355 have passed. This represents 76.94% pass rate.

Out of the 2,726 Special Needs Education (SNE) candidates who sat for this examination, 1,949 have passed. This represents 71.50% pass rate.
