According to reports, a total of 166,433 candidates sat the final national A Level Examinations in 2026 at 2,634 Centres across the country. However, the Marking of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) Examinations will start in December 2025/ January 2026.

Therefore, As per 2024 UNEB the 142,009 candidates who registered for the examination. In terms of gendar 61,938 (43.6%) candidates are females while 80.041 (56.4%) are males. were more than 110,579 candidates who had registered in the previous year, which represented a 22.0%1 increase.
