The Namibian Defence Force Going to Recruit 1,500 New Members through the NDF Recruitment Planning Committee Across All 14 Regions in 2026 March.
A Total of 3000 Cadets Will be Shortlisted and 1500 Will Make the Final Cut. Application Forms Will be Submitted Starting from November 10th to 15th November 2025.
1500 Cadets Will Undergo Basic Recruit Training for nine months at the NDF Training Establishment in Okahandja During the 2024-2025 Financial Year.
Eligible Applicants Must be Namibian Citizens & Should be Between Ages of 18 & 25 Years.
About NDF Namibian Defence Force
NDF Was Established in the Year 1990 By the Namibian Constitution & the Defence Act 20 of 1990 as amended. The President is the Commander in Chief of the Namibian Defence Force.
At Independence, Namibia Had No Defence Force & It Had to be Built form Scratch. Since then, Significant Progress has been Made. Former Members of the People’s Liberation Army of Namibia & the South West Africa Territory Force Were Demobilised and Many of them were integrated into a unified Namibian Defence Force.
