Students who have taken part in Ethiopia 12th Grade Placement in the 2017 school year score a pass to attend the remedial program at the Government Universities. Therefore, a student has to score a minimum of 30% Points in the National exam to follow Higher Education in Ethiopia. So for the Ministry of Education has announced Cut-Off Points for Regular Students from Regional States.

The Remedial Exam successfully conducted from May 25 to May 30, 2017/ ginbot 25-30, 2017 at 64 exam centers prepared in 41 universities. this year 3,528 students from 25 private higher education institutions are taking the exam in 7 natural and social science fields.

The Remedial Program of Public Universities and Various Alternatives was Presented by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education.
