Elderly Individuals Over the Age of 70 in Families Receiving Aswesuma Benefits Will be Able to Receive their Elderly Allowance through their Aswesuma Bank Account Starting from 20th June 2025.
The Total Number of Elderly Individuals Receiving the Allowance for 2025 June is 599,662. The Government of Sri Lanka Has Allocated a sum of Rs 2,998,310,000 for this Purpose.
JUNE 18, 2025 UPDATE: The Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Payment for the Month of June Will be Available From 18th June 2025 Onwards through your aswesuma bank account. The Total Number of Families Receiving the Aswesuma Payment in June 2025 is 1,430,775. The Government of Sri Lanka Has Allocated Rs 11,339,507,500 for this Program.

Important Note: Payment Specified in the Schedule II Shall be Paid Up to 31-12-2025. However, from 30th April 2025, beneficiaries mentioned in the schedule II Who are not receiving transitional payments mentioned in the Schedule I Shall be Entitled to Receive payments under the Schedule II. The Payments for beneficiaries identified through the welfare beneficiary list, shall be made under that scheme.

Huge Number of Sri Lanka Peoples are Keenly Waiting For Aswesuma New List. We All Know that Few Days Before Aswesuma Name List Has Been Released. But Lots of Peoples are Unsatisfied With the List of Selected Peoples. The List of Beneficiary’s Selected For Aswesuma Benefit Was Made Public Recently those who received samrudhi benefit until Now Were Not Listed Under Aswesuma Benefit Program are Protesting.
Officials Provided the Opportunity For Appeals and Objections to all those peoples who are protesting and who are not agree with this selection. The Publication of the New List / Final Beneficiary List Is Still Pending. Wait for Aswesuma Name List 2025 which will be released very soon.

Submission of Appeals Has Been Extend Till July 10, 2023. Peoples Can Obtain Information Via the Hotline 1924 Between 8 AM & 5 PM From Monday to Friday.
At the Regional Office Level, A Three Member Selection Committee Will Monitor the Data & After Approval by the District Secretary, the Deserving Peoples Will be Selected.
Government Further Informs the Candidates that they can contact the divisional secretary for assistance with any issues that may have developed with regard to their applications.
